Chapter 1 Part 2 Write your own Love Letter

Get to the place in life where you write your own love letter to yourself. Express your true love to yourself, frequently. Everytime the devil tells you that you're no good, or unworthy of God's goodness read your latest love letter or write another one that tops the last one. When you feel down or need a lift-up tell yourself how much you love you.  It's a challenge because the last thing you want to do when you're down is the opposite of how you feel. It's kind of like when you come home from a long day and you sit down to study The Word, after you hear it you're full. That's the right time to write yourself a love letter. It's like having dessert after your dinner. Even if you can only think of a few sentences that's okay, just hold onto it, and add to it when you can think of something else to write. After you write your letter post it up on the refrigerator so you can refer back at a later date and remind yourself of the love God has for you to it. Remember we have to love ourselves before we can be lovable. God wrote us a love letter and it is called the Holy Scriptures. Open up your love letter and allow it to help you write your own.

Tips on How to Create, Design and Publish your Love Letters

1. Blog - design the perfect blog for your love letters to yourself. You can create the colors and accessories to make the blog as gorgeous as you want it to be.
2. Journal - a lovely journal book would be ideal to keep a collection of love letters.
3. Refrigerator magnets- some stores carry a package of magnets that are blank on one side and adhesive on the other. You can write a two word message or create an entire paragraph to stick onto the magnet to put right on your refrigerator.
4. Frame them - type out your love letters and purchase a beautiful frame for them.  Frame them all at one time or one at a time.  Frame them all over your desk, living room or bedroom. Frame them wherever you would like.
5. Power Point Presentation (more of this in part 3) - once you have written your love letter you should share it. Another way to share it is to create a power point presentation. I once had a power point party in my classroom. For 18 years I was a teacher in Detroit Public School. At lunch time my colleagues and I would gather in my classroom to eat and talk about the days activities.  After we came back from Christmas and New Year vacation in January 2005, I invited them to my classroom once again but this time it was to view a power point presentation that I had made over the holiday break. It was sort of like a "New Years Resolution" thing, even though I stopped making them years ago. I called it 10 Characteristics of the Man God has for Me. It was a hit!
