Ephesians 1:4-6
Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. So we Praise God for the glorious grace He has poured on us who belong to His Dear Son.
Reading and studying this verse has made me realize why I was adopted and how much I am really loved by our Father God, through His Son Christ Jesus and Elbert and Bertha Acklin (my parents).
The Revelation:
When I was being teased and taunted about being adopted I was too young to understand that I had been adopted twice, naturally and supernaturally. That means I am twice blessed! While they were all laughing, my friend Robin and the others, were also adopted but they didn't know it. They didn't realize how blessed they were. What a lesson a Christian "values" school could've taught. We were all in the same boat!
